If you haven’t started a playlist spread yet in your bullet journal, nows the time to do it! List down all of your favorite songs for the month with a playlist spread next to your habit or mood tracker could be a great idea XD These creative playlist spreads for 2020 can definitely be of help with that for some extra inspiration on how to layout and draw your playlist spread!
Playlists spreads can be at the end of the month where you write down your favorite songs of the month. Since, songs sometimes do get old, so every month you can see your past songs. Then listen to them and maybe fall in love with them again.
If you’re planning to start a bullet journal, things such as this cheap bullet journal, this Micron Pen Set, and some highlighters to give an extra pop of color! Bullet journaling doesn’t require an expensive notebook with a bunch of colorful pens, you really only need the journal and pens. Though the highlighters will definitely help with the colors XD

Without further ado, here are some creative playlist spreads for 2020 :

The seashell beach-y look for this June playlist is something I’m definitely loving, with the little bits of seashell doodles on the bottom left corner with the ‘sand’? And even more of it next to the also wonderfully drawn title is perfect with this playlist spread! I definitely have to give that Lauv song a hear!
Source : @leeknowit
The pastel pops of colors of the patches of papers give this summer playlist such a nice vibe with those songs! ITZy’s Icy is definitely a bop for me, and this summer playlist is easy with nine squares of the song photos and the name! I would love to listen to the Summer playlist that I had curated when I’m in the moody Winter to see the contrast!

The clouds around the five songs are so cute, the easy borders surrounding each song and the playlist lines below it perfectly suffices for a playlist spread. Without having to print anything out, and I love the border or title of the ‘My Playlist’ too <3 The extra notes section below it is also a plus to the playlist spread.

Jackson Wang’s 100 Ways and the Paris in the Rain by Lauv are both great songs, one hundred percent recent recommend giving it a hear. In this April playlist spread, there are little shadows behind each box to make it pop from the paper. And I like how each six boxes were drawn in a both horizontal and diagonal, making it all fit without any extra space.

Funny how I was just listening to Stray Kids while writing this, this is a before sleep playlist, which I was think is quite a cool idea. To have a playlist that helps you sleep, soothing or not, preferences differ. Though this pink and purple themed playlist spread is definitely one of a kind, especially with its leopard pattern title XD
Source : @gletterz
I’m such a fan of this polaroid layout of this yellow themed playlist spread and its black and white cover photos for each song! The contrast between the bright yellow and the black and white really made this spread pop out to me XD It’s such a unique kind of way, and the washie tapes at the bottom and top definitely added to the yellow theme!

“Music makes everything better”, I haven’t heard a Truer quote than that. Music can help someone’s mood tremendously, at least it does to mine, anyways. This party theme for this playlist spread with all the confetti, balloons, and flags are absolutely adorable and the drawn out blocks of songs? Too cute!
Source : @bujorach
A four block playlist spread with matching color ways of bronze and black! Customizing it to your own preferences of colors or fitting to the theme of its other spreads like this one is also a good idea! I don’t care by Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber is a great song that I’ve fell in love with from listening to the radio in the car XD And the boxes around it I think a nice touch with it being proportioned to be checkered patterned if that makes sense :3
Remember to pin these playlist spreads for 2020!

A rather minimalistic playlist spread that somehow reminds me of the store Muji, who I absolutely adore. This is just a simple written playlist for the commute with a wonderfully drawn title and cute decor on the corner. It’s almost a bullet pointed list, and anyone could replicate this for their own bullet journal as long as they own a pencil XD
Source : @annajournals_
One of the most special designs in this post of bullet journals, with a hand drawn phone and the playlist itself written inside of the Spotify playlist. Hands down creative and the details of the phone? A+, for sure. The extra earphones at the side is also such an adorable addition to the phone May playlist!
Source : @wood_bujo
Another May playlist with blue butterflies around the blue title~ With long stacked boxes and some extra shadings for each soundtrack. Adding the album cover on for each song, the play back button and playing bar is really cute too! Favorite song in this playlist is definitely Can’t hold us by Macklemore, it makes me feel like a badass. So 100% recommend XD
Source : @bujoboy
A simple box with the album cover pasted on, and no fancy additions, which I’m also a fan of. The extra line at the bottom of the song title and artist name is a nice touch to each soundtrack box too! With nine neatly drawn boxes on one page as the playlist spread for each month? I don’t see why not!

The boxes are drawn as pop up windows and it took me a bit too long to understand it XD It’s such an interesting and creative idea, and the stickers floating around this November playlist spread added to the fall-winterish vibe, since it’s November in the spread. But I’m such a fan for that window pop up look! Ah!
Source : @celfstudies
A ripped part of that dreaded loose leaf paper, with a playlist jotted on top of it! And some simple decors threw on top, the vase sticker made it somewhat high class and posh to me XD And blue being my favorite color, I love this navy colored playlist spread! I like both Dangerously from Charlie Puth and the classic, Just the Way You Are from Bruno Mars :3
Source : @plinthced
If this isn’t one of the most extra playlist spreads I’ve ever seen XD But I’m not complaining! The peacock feathers are definitely a major component to this also drawn-in-a-phone-bujo playlist spread! It’s so detailed-y drawn with each feather having an ombre of green shades too? Goodness! *me fan-girling* Thank you next, Let you Love me, and I’m a mess, love those three XD
Source : @annajournals_
An actual tape drawn on the top with daisies decorating the sides of it. It’s honestly so cool to have drawn a tap recorder on the top of a playlist spread, and a simple jotted down playlist at the bottom. With the song name on the left and artist on the left. High Hopes is such, such a good song, it’s incredibly pumping to hear when you’re in a bad mood. Go give it a hear, you won’t regret it!
Source : @study.duoo
A LITTLE HAPPINESS! My eyes literally widened so much when I saw this, besides the beautiful drawn playlist spread, that songtrack of a movie was one of the reasons I put this one in XD It might even be my favorite movie ever, so go watch the movie >:( But I love this spread, even with its loosely drawn boxes, the details inside each box with even the seconds written out? Heck yeah!

The layout of this March playlist spread is honestly everything! With boxes drawn out and each song’s album printed out in a square at the sides. The little song icons at the bottom is such a cute detail, especially with the heart icon too! Miroh, bonbon chocolat, and gogobebe? Stray Kids, Everglow, and Mamamoo? Heck yeah!
Source : @annajournals_
If this doesn’t summarize fall in one playlist spread, I don’t know what does. The fall theme in this spread is absolutely popping off through the roof! The title with the scarf, the hot drinks, leaves, wind, pumpkin, mittens, and that random rake? I love. Another thing I love about this spread is the hand drawn album pictures instead of a printed one. Which is another good option you can try to do if you don’t have a printer!
Source : @sashimi.notes
A simple three by three squared playlist spread, with little round bubbles floating across the spread. Print, cut, glue, and write! I’m definitely a fan of the spaced out blocks and the petit words and icons written underneath each photo! The camo looking of pink, yellow, and orange boxed title also added another pop of color to this playlist spread too :3
Source : @sunshine_journal
This might be my favorite playlist spread out of it all, with the adorable music notes dancing next to the title and at the bottom of the spread. The gray highlighter drawn lines really made it pop up, and the artist’s name is especially highlighted to differentiate between the two. Favorite song in here is Everything I wanted, and comethru next. I personally cried listening to everything I wanted the first time I heard it, so give it shot if you’re up for some tears <3
Source : @srendipty
This is giving me some vintage/ newspaper vibes. You can’t convince me other wise with that beautiful color way! I’m a sucker for this kind of brown, mauve-y, and black colors all together. And the cursive-y quote written underneath, “With the right music, you either forget everything or you remember everything”. This spread is absolutely,*French kiss* one to remember OR try out XD

The sunset look with those clouds and the electricity pole, next to what I think is a really cool font, playlist title. The clouds seemed like it’s watercolor and the extra shadings are an extra plus! It’s a simple drawn box with a terracottas color and blue color. And I should definitely give one of these songs a try!
Source : @cynthiabujo
This is so extra and gorgeous and I love it. It’s multiple radios drawn in different styles and with similar color ways to keep it matching all across each eight of them. All these radios have a blank spot with the song name and title written in it, this spread speaks for itself. If I could draw like that, you bet I’ll be trying out these radio doodle playlist!
Source : @lianastudiess
Sakuras are one of my favorite flowers, hence the reason I choose to throw this one to the mix. A pastel pink toned theme with a adorable title and it’s own icons underneath it. Each box with a pink shadow, and the most gorgeous sakura doodles drawn out on the bottom. With other petals and flowers in whole from multiple angles! It’s perfect, and so is the song by Ed Sheeran XD
Source : @sloth.studies
An animal crossing sticker and cute radio sticker cornering the loose leaf paper with yellow songs written on it and the artist written in black. The stickers really added to the playlist spread too! Though I have no idea what’s the korean tag on the side, it’s still a beautiful April playlist spread with a wonderful background of the blue sky~
Source : @bujowithmatilda
September playlist with a cute pastel pink title and small squares with the song, artist, and some icons drawn out. This would be the style that I would do for my playlist spread if I was too lazy to print out any photos. As it’s just a simple draw and write, which is definitely a way to go for many if you just want a playlist spread in your bullet journal!

An AP study playlist, or just a playlist. Anyways, colorful boxes alternating between each and the classic icons underneath each song title and artist! Imagine having a playlist at the back of every month’s section in your bullet journal and having a massive playlist at the end of the year for you to listen to all your old bops! That’ll be so cool though XD

Stand up coffee lovers! Because this one is for you! Nine coffee drink as the ‘album cover’ for each box of songs in this soundtrack spread. And if you’re not in love with this spread like I am right now, I don’t even know. The little coffee beans and cup at the bottom? The hanging boards of each song with a cup of coffee on it? I am literally in love!

A May playlist with a creative and beautiful title with palm trees and birds in a sunset! Love the title <3 With those stickers and leaf doodles, I almost thought that this was a fall spread XD I love the easy boxes with black shadows, and I love Snapping from Chungha, Wannabe from Itzy, Psycho from Red Velvet. Though the word psycho might need a chance in this spread 🙂
Source : @bujowithclytie
This looks like it’s a I’m presuming a spring spread with its fun vibes including the flower sticker and doodles at the side and up! The little clouds/ leaves or just a box had a colorful border around it with shades of orange, blue, and red coloring up the artist box. With three little playlist icons on the bottom of the song name, this is perfect for one of the months in Spring’s playlist spread!
Source : @planwithmaddy
An instead black colored boxes and a white pen as the words, this is a fresh look from all the white boxes, and I’m not mad about it! It looks like night mode on my phone XD Though I do love the contrast, it also made the colorful photo itself pop out a lot more since it’s in a black box? Favorite song in this is Bellyache from Billie Eilish XD

A vintage karoke machine at a restaurant? This is truly a one of a kind playlist spread that I literally bow to? Like hello? This is awesome! The checkered floor is definitely a plus and the color way of the sea green, pink, and purple? The triangular boxes for each of the songs inside the machine and the title incorporating the karoke-theme-ish is hands down absolutely beautiful! Thank you, NEXT!
Source : @jamdoodless
Easy bullet pointed list of songs as a playlist also perfectly suffices for a spread in your bullet journal. A list of songs that you love during the month, simply jotting it down through each week is a great idea. As in the end there’s no need for the extra decorations, unless you want it of course. But I like the simple green plant decors on the bottom and the ombre green title <3

Back to December~ Eight by IU and Suga~ This pink themed playlist spread have some music, playlist emojis and doodles next to the wonderfully drawn title. And I’m here for it! The extra lined box made it look 3D and the easy playlist icons written underneath is everything. To think that a pink pen and a black pen can create such a cute playlist spread!

Simple cut and paste, but yet beautiful playlist spread! The April title is adorable and really gave this spread some life with all five letters in varying colors. I love the small cute squares of photos and the simple song title just written underneath! Something about the handwriting is also just appealing to the spread, as if it fits perfectly too XD

A study playlist is one heck of a good idea, the music notes up on the top paired with the earphones at the side is so cute! And the starry title is also A+, the colorful fun shadows of each box is another way to add in that pop of color in an otherwise simple black and white spread.
Conclusion :
